Wedding Bells are Ringing

Well my baby brother is getting himself a wife this Saturday and I couldn't be more happy for them.

However what a week it has been. Between a sick baby girl, Kinley's last day of MDO and the yumminess that I made to thank all of his wonderful teachers and the staff at the MDO program, my husband getting a possible job offer (to be set in stone tomorrow, prayers are welcomed) and getting ready to travel it has been one hectic week. For those of you who do not know me personally here's a little history.

*Born and raised in Southern West Virginia
*Knew each other since we were little
*Never dated until college
*Fell madly in love with each other
*I got a wonderful job offer in Sevierville, TN
*We moved, got married and have now made a home here in TN.

As much as we bleed BLUE & GOLD we love our little community and home here and honestly can't imagine going back.

All that being said all of our family is in WV so we do a decent amount of traveling and I am blessed with parents who make a monthly trip to see my kiddos and their only grandbabies...for now.

That brings us back to the wedding. I made another delcious yumminess for the rehersal dinner tomorrow night. It was a recipe shared with me by a very dear friend and I am so excited to show you my first attempt at it. I am still learning at this whole decorating thing but I can see myself slowly getting better.

The cake is a chocolate peanut butter cake with chocolate buttercream icing...HELLO perfection. Let's just hope it makes it to WV in one piece. :)

Well that's it for now. Busy weekend ahead but will be back with a full wedding post next week. Oh and hoping to see more followers by then! I keep finding more and more awesome blogs and personal companies and I am ready to start with some giveaways!!

Happy Weekend!
